1.  All persons interested in adopting a pit bull must be interviewed by the executive director.

2.  The executive director or his/her designee will complete a home check and meet in person with the family interested in adopting a pit bull. Proof of liability insurance may be required.

3.  All persons authorized to adopt a pit bull will be required to sign a release of liability form.

4.  Pit bulls will not be placed in homes where other animals reside.

5.  Pit bulls will not be placed in homes with children under 12 years of age.
