WE DESPERATELY NEED:

Kitty Litter
Dog & Cat Food
Kong Chew Toys for Dogs
Carpet for the Dogs

The economy is severely affecting donations of basic items for the animals. We had been relying heavily on corporate donations of food and litter, but they are fast drying up.

If you can help, please bring donations to the shelter or call us at 951-674-0618 to arrange for pick up.

All the animals thank you!

Attention Volunteers!

Volunteers must be at least 14 years old. Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Volunteer orientations are held the third Thursday of each month from 5-6 p.m.

For more information, please check our volunteer page.

We need foster parents!

Help the animals by shopping at Ralphs! (Ralph's new contribution year started September 1, so you will need to re-enroll if you enrolled previously.)

AFV Named Nonprofit of the Year By Wildomar Chamber of Commerce

AFV is proud and honored to be named Nonprofit of the Year by the Wildomar Chamber of Commerce. Our success is due directly to our staff, volunteers, donors, board of directors, and the public, who always supports our efforts to help the animals in our communities.

Thank you, Wildomar!

AFV staff and board members accept the award.

Last Chance To Buy A Brick!

If you've driven by the new shelter site recently, you will have noticed how far along construction has come. That means that time will soon run out to purchase a personalized brick.

For $50, you can purchase a brick that will leave a lasting legacy to a friend, relative or beloved pet. Bricks will be inscribed with their names or any message you designate (three lines of up to twenty characters.)

More information, or purchase your brick.

Thanks to volunteer Bill Magruder!

The AFV office staff held an Appreciation Day recently for our dedicated "Volunteer Valentine" Bill Magruder, pictured here with a little friend.

Thanks, Bill, for all you do for the animals!

Bring us your used inkjet and/or toner cartridges and we will recycle them and use the proceeds to help the animals. All cartridge brands are acceptable.

Drop off your used cartridges at the shelter, our administrative office at 33751 Mission Trail in Wildomar, our Saturday adoption shows Lake Elsinore PetSmart, and Temecula Petco. (You also can leave them during the week in our donation bin at the Temecula Petco.)
