Pets of the Week

WE DESPERATELY NEED:

Kitty Litter
Kong Chew Toys for Dogs
Carpet for the Dogs

The economy is severely affecting donations of basic items for the animals. We had been relying heavily on corporate donations of food and litter, but they are fast drying up.

If you can help, please bring donations to the shelter or call us at 951-674-0618 to arrange for pick up.

All the animals thank you!

Attention Volunteers!

Volunteers must be at least 14 years old. Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Volunteer orientations are held the third Thursday of each month from 5-6 p.m.

Make Your Pet a Pin-up!

Hey, pet lovers, it's time to get ready for a new calendar contest! Catch your pet in an eye-catching pose, playing with his favorite toy, or just being himself, then enter your photo in our 2010 calendar contest. Thirteen winners will be chosen for the cover and pets of the month. All other photos will be included in the collage pages. So, in this contest, everybody's a winner!

Enter as many photos as you like with your entry fee of $10 per photo. And, to make it even easier, we have changed the rules this year to allow digital photo entries. Just email your digital photos (no need to print them), then send in your payment with an official entry form, with a note stating that you have emailed your photos.

Deadline for entries is July 31 at 4 p.m. Calendars will be available for sale in the fall for $10 each.

Recycle Your Ink Cartridges and Help the Shelter Animals!

Bring us your used inkjet and/or toner cartridges and we will recycle them and use the proceeds to help the animals. All cartridge brands are acceptable.

Drop off your used cartridges at the shelter, our administrative office at 33751 Mission Trail in Wildomar, our Saturday adoption shows at the Murrieta Farmers Market, Lake Elsinore PetSmart, and Temecula Petco. (You also can leave them during the week in our donation bin at the Temecula Petco.)
